An outstanding service; I booked my taxi in advance and I was late arriving at the airport but the excellent driver waited an additional hour for me. I had no other way of reaching my destination and with the freezing temperatures I was glad of this excellent service and driver who was polite and courteous throughout the trip.

I used the service as I was traveling with my mum, my baby and son and needed a car seat. Chose the meet and greet option and it was great to have an extra pair of hands to help us.

Haywards Heath to Gatwick Airport Taxi
Book a Haywards Heath to Gatwick Airport transfer from your home, hotel or business address. A Short Airport Journey Still Needs a Clear Plan
Haywards Heath is relatively close to Gatwick, but the road distance depends on the route and your starting point. Our existing route guidance gives approximately 13–19 miles and around 20–30 minutes in normal traffic.Treat these as planning estimates. Your collection address, airport terminal and traffic conditions can affect the actual journey. For a departing flight, add the airline’s recommended airport arrival allowance. Being close to Gatwick does not remove the need to plan for check-in, security and possible road delays.
Tell Us Exactly Where to Collect You
Use your full street address and postcode when requesting a quote. For collections around the town centre, the station area, Bolnore Village or the western side of Haywards Heath, include the building name and any useful entrance information. For a nearby address in Lindfield or Cuckfield, enter that location directly rather than selecting a generic Haywards Heath pickup. If your collection is from a hotel or workplace, specify where you will wait. This is particularly helpful where a building has several entrances or a private access road.
Taxi or Train: Choose Around the Whole Journey
Haywards Heath has rail connections to Gatwick, so the best choice depends on more than the airport-to-station travel time.Consider how you will reach the station, how much luggage you have and whether the timetable suits your flight. A pre-booked private transfer provides an address-to-airport journey and may suit travellers with children, several bags or a collection point outside the town centre.Check current rail information separately if you are comparing options. A taxi should be chosen for the journey arrangement you need, rather than an assumption that it will always be faster.
Seating and Luggage for Your Transfer
List every passenger and bag before selecting your vehicle. Include pushchairs and bulky items that may need extra boot space. For family bookings, request any child seats and provide the children’s ages and seating requirements. Vehicle compatibility matters, so check your confirmation rather than assuming a seat request applies to every car category.See our child-seat transfer information for further guidance.
Airport Arrivals and the Return Home
For a Gatwick to Haywards Heath collection, enter your flight number, arrival date and destination address. Follow the meeting instructions provided with your booking. If the outward journey starts in Haywards Heath but your return destination is elsewhere, record the different address when booking. Contact us if those arrangements change.
